How Do I get to Lushoto?
Lushoto can be reached from several major cities in Tanzania.
From Dar es Salaam: about 6–7 hours by bus or 5–6 hours by car.
From Arusha: about 5–6 hours by bus.
From Tanga: about 3–4 hours by car or minibus.
From Kilimanjaro International Airport: about 5–6 hours by car.

Yes. We organize 2 to 5 day trekking tours across the Usambara Mountains including villages, viewpoints and forests. Some of our popular routes include trekking towards Mtae, known for its spectacular views over the Maasai plains.

Visitors can stay at our Magamba Eco-Cultural Tourism campsite or in our simple guest rooms in the village Or any hotel in Usambara mountains.

What is the best time to visit the Usambara Mountains?
The Usambara Mountains can be visited throughout the year.
June to October: cooler and drier weather, excellent for hiking.
November to May: greener landscapes and good for photography and nature experiences.
